Shingo, I also wonder about this all the time. It's too easy to find what should be a pretty rare engine (b18c5) ... virtually every engines-for-sale website has them offered. I wonder...

Most of those are jdm, and they arent that rare. :woowoo:

Actually I'm more surprised at how quickly people seem to dump B18C5's into their hatches without doing any type of proper background research whatsoever. B18C5s may not be rare, but they're not exactly the cheapest engine to choose for a hybrid either (nor a prime choice for going forced-induction).

Hrm..there really is no #1 choice but the B18C5 isn't what most people think of when deciding to go F/I.
