Default Nitrous or Bolt-ons???

So it's like this guys...

I just got a 90 GS...its in good shape. I want to know if I should get some bolt ons or (like my friend is telling me to) get a ZEX kit.

If bolt-ons...
which ones? how much money? how much hp? (I want 30 hp for under 600-700 or so bucks)

If nitrous...

(ZEX kit seems to be a good choice since it activates only when turned on and at full throttle (instead of a gay button or what not)

but what shot is safe for a 90 gs with 140 k? what do I need to do to check if it is safe for nitrous? and I can't let my parents know I have it, so is it possible to hide the bottle in the spare tire well and to hide all of the lines incl. in the engine bay?

By the way guys, I'd really appreciate any other ways you have of getting me 30 hp for under 700 or 800 bucks (besides nitrous) because I just dont have the money to turbo or waste on ls/vtec.
Thanks!

hahaha, so you want to get a Nitrous.Oxide.System and hide it?. thats just too funny.

a 50 shot of ZEX would be perfectly safe for your application. I would recommend a tune up and engine overhaul, that would definitly make using nos alot safer. I too plan on getting Nitrous VERY soon, but still I haven't decided on ZEX or Nitrous Express NOS.

also there's plenty of other ways to come up with 30+ hp...such as;
Cold Air Intake (Injen, or AEM they run $250)
Iradium Plugs, about $40.00
Chip the ECU...$35.00
good 3" Exhaust Muffler
AEM Power Pulleys $300.00 a Set
FPR $100 & up.
Hi Flow injectors $200 & up
Port & Polish ($ check your local shop)
Cam Gears $ ?

and turbo's are getting cheaper by the day, you can never go wrong with a T3/4 turbo & an Apexi Digital Boost Controller.

hope you get some ideas from this post.

good luck!

Yes it is possible to hide the nitrous. All my nitrous stuff is hidden. NOS and NX kits also only activate at full throttle (no fast and the furious action lol) And you can be fine with a 50 shot just get colder plugs , but your clutch will soon die.

You can get ultra creative and hide nitrous anywhere. I have seen people at the strip and street races wrap the solenoids with black tape and mount them really low on the firewall to hide them. I have also seen people hide the bottle in all kinds of places. One guy had the nitrous hose go behind the front seat and had his bottle in a duffle bag (which I would never recommend) to try to cheat at the street races.

Also every kit available out there has a "full throttle switch" with it. That is the recommended way to install nitrous. I have the JG/Edelbrock kit and it came with one too.

tune it though. if your engine isn't tuned rightly it will go on you. but tune the system well and your engine will be fine. my only exhaust. N02 is the best hp for the price.

Hmm, $1000 in bolt ons for maybe 20-25 bhp, or $500 for 50-75 bhp, not to mention WAY more torque. Yes nitrous kits can be hidden, it's not that difficult...just takes time and a little creativity.

Thanks guys...but gregz93integra, no no and HELL NO...I mean come on. I'm not gonna spend 250 on a damn pipe and filter and "iradium plugs" do ****. Plus pulleys are a simple waste of money IMO.
