Yes it is possible to hide the nitrous. All my nitrous stuff is hidden. NOS and NX kits also only activate at full throttle (no fast and the furious action lol) And you can be fine with a 50 shot just get colder plugs , but your clutch will soon die.
You can get ultra creative and hide nitrous anywhere. I have seen people at the strip and street races wrap the solenoids with black tape and mount them really low on the firewall to hide them. I have also seen people hide the bottle in all kinds of places. One guy had the nitrous hose go behind the front seat and had his bottle in a duffle bag
(which I would never recommend) to try to cheat at the street races.
Also every kit available out there has a "full throttle switch" with it. That is the recommended way to install nitrous. I have the JG/Edelbrock kit and it came with one too.
