I'd also recommend a deck guard(block brace, whatever you wish to call it). It'll help stabilize the upper part of the jug during high RPM and/or boost.

just make sure that if you get one of those deck guards that you put it in before you do the cylinder work so that any changes in the cylinder size where the guard is, is machined out.

Those damned variables. HAHA. Seriously though, the ONLY way to really know is to build it and bump it till it pops!
