Are Crower 404's (w/ new valvesprings and retainers ofcourse) ok for daily driving besides the fact that they idle differently?? Would they definetly need dyno tuned or no? I was looking into getting the Skunk2 stage 2 cams and new valvesprings and retainers and I was told that I would need to get them dyno tuned.
I wouldn't recommend the 404s if you still want a decent idle and low-end. If you can live with that badass idling sound and get a nice top-end in return, then go for it.
Like I said before, if you want to know what the 404's idle like just think of a slightly less nasty Harley and that's what they sound like. It's a very lumpy idle.
how many horses should an average person with I/h/c/e and adjustable cam sprockets see. Like just give me a range as in anywhere from so and so to so and so.
i think the ctr cams have more lift and duration than the crowers. if you hunt around you should be able to find them for the same price. and they're factory honda parts.

Ok so out of the ctr cams and the crower 404's which would give the most power? I think I would like the crower's better for their very nicely sounding idle, but the ctr cams for the fact that I would not need aftermarket valvesprings and retainers? But which makes more power?? Any opinions on this would be appreciated. Thanks
Oh ok I'm stupid sorry... h: ..Well then what kind of hp could I get from CTR cams? And does anyone know of any good websites where I could find some for a good price?
