Default Suspension Concern

I have re-installed my stock suspension 6 months ago. And everything was perfectly fine until now, now everytime i go over a speed bump, or come out of my gradge, i hear a noise coming from my suspension, i cant quite describe the noise, but it does seem to sound like a whoobling sound. Does anybody know what could be causing this??

Retorque all the bolts, lower control arm, front pinch fork, top strut mount and strut shaft bolt. I think it may be the strut shaft bolt, my guess is that the rubber isolators have compressed and the shaft is not being held in place.

Strut shaft bolt is the one you'll find on top of the strut towers in your engine bay.

I think he is probably talking about rubber bushings, that should have been new ones when you put it back to stock. Your sway bar for example has rubber parts that put a little give in the system, so to speak. If you have wore out rubber parts, the metal parts are free to move more, perhaps that is causing your wobble. Also, some bolts have a nylon/plastic insert, sort of a lock washer if you will, because these parts are subject to vibration, you probably did not use new bolts when doing it so these may be loose. Happens with lug nuts too sometimes, which is one of the reasons to check that too. Look at the rubber parts, are they cracked, replace them. When I redid the front end on the bug, I used polyurethane bushings, which are a bit harder and more durable than the rubber. They gave the car a really tight feel when cornering. I need to get rid of those 165 tires before I reallly will be able to make it handle like an 1800 lb go cart. Cheers:driving:

Item 18 is the strut shaft bolt, rubber isolator that I'm talking about are item 7. It's pretty difficult to torque the strut shaft bolt to spec. since you have to hold the shaft stationary with an allen key while torquing the bolt. Use a box end wrench and allen key and guesstimate.
