I'm running an LS/VTEC Automatic. I'm in the process on re-building the motor due to Gas in the oil runing to rich. As long you don't floor the pedal from a dead stop your trans will be fine as long you slowly get on the gas pedal.

My set up
B18B1 bottom end with ITR piston
B16 Head fully built with JDM CTR Camshaft
JDM SIR-G Auto Transmission
JDM B16 Automatic ECU
Greddy Ultimate EMS
Apexi S-AFC Controller (going to upgrade it to V-AFC)
AEM Wideband
Toda ITBs coming this Summer

And a bunch of other parts.

Know a person that did a LS/VTEC Automatic using there stock LS ECU and connecting a Apexi V-AFC to control the VTEC engagement. His motor was supercharged on top.

You can use your stock LS ECU. You will need a VTEC controller or APEXI V-AFC, to activate VTEC. My old set up was just a stock LS/VTEC and was making roughly 148whp without spray. With the new set up my goal is close to 205-210whp on all motor without spray.

If you have a GSR had your golden with your SIR-G ECU but if you have a B16 head your SIR-G ECU will not work.
