Default Regular Scheduled Maintanence

I have a '94 Integra LS nearing 98.5k miles and haven't had scheduled maintanence on it since it was at 35k miles. I was thinking about saving myself a few hundred dollars if done myself. But my question is what parts would I need, or what is it that I should have replaced under the hood?

Crash,

No, I'm guessing I was supposed to do that one, also? Honestly, I don't have much knowledge about regular maintanences and I don't abuse my car at all, so it still drives fine. But was wondering what sort of replacements I should do under the hood...

look in your manual for what needs to be done
from the top of my head your reaching the time for a lot of things
main things include new belts, new distributer, cap, wires, plugs, fuel filter, etc

The manual should describe the maintenance suggested for mileage/type of driving.

I paid for it done, but at around 90K, changed the timing belt, cam seals, water pump and replaced all accessory belts. Had them put the new coolant in, and adjust the valves, I changed the motor and trans fluid myself. You must change the timing belt, or risk catastrophic engine damage, the WP and seals were just because I figured what the hell, while they had it apart...

Yeah, you can and should flush the tranny and coolant fluids, replace it. Replace your fuel filter, oil filter, and engine oil.

Then take it into the dealership and bend over and take it in the ass, hand them $400 and have them do the timing belt and if you want you SHOULD do your own distributer/plugs/wires.

Thanks, guys. I never realized my owner's manual had all these details as to what I should do.

Will: Yup, I believe it's still the same original timing belt. I bought the car used at 35k miles and haven't had anything done to it, except for oil changes...

YIKES! get that maintanenced soon, they may "find" something before it gets worse (ie. cam seal leak!)

Towards the end of the manual they list the various things you should check for different "conditions" the car normally goes through (for example, snow, cold weather, hot weather, driven hard each day, driven less than 5 miles at each setting, etc.)
