Yeah, you can and should flush the tranny and coolant fluids, replace it. Replace your fuel filter, oil filter, and engine oil.

Then take it into the dealership and bend over and take it in the ass, hand them $400 and have them do the timing belt and if you want you SHOULD do your own distributer/plugs/wires.
