My B16 hatch's have OWNED GSRs. It took a GSR w/ CTR cams, clutch, flywheel, Type R tranny, Fields, i/h/e, FPR just to run w/ my hb that had a B16A3, I/h/e and FPR, I HARDLY saw that a B16 hb is slow. I NEVER lost to a GSR w/ mods when I had my hb and would shoot myself if a stock (I/H/E) GSR beat me...toooooooo many differences.
-A GSR will consistantly walk all over a b16 hatch with equal mods.-
Impossible. Only a POOR driver. That's like saying a GSR that took a 500 lb diet is still slower than the stock GSR.
Hell, for this matter, I've owned a HB w/ an LS engine and a GSR tranny in it, I beat a 6th gen coupe w/a GSR engine in it by probably 1/2 car to a car up to 100 mph...I was depressed because my B16 was MUCH faster than the LS engine in my HB and I could have beat him by much more.

I've never lost to a b16 hatch with equal mods. Ever. And I'm not talking on the street... where it would be even WORSE, due to the b16's horrible light-to-light abilities.

Just out of curiosity, what times do you run at the track? Since B16 hb are slow, what do you run? I ran a 14.6 @ 94...My CRX w/ a B16 ran a 14.9 (****ty 13" facory wheels) @ 97!!!mph. My CRX was WAY faster than my hb, probably could have hit 13's on some slicks...so, what do fast GSRs run?

My CRX w/ a B16 ran a 14.9 (****ty 13" facory wheels) @ 97!!!mph. My trap, under good circumstances, good for a high 13.
Your trap is indicative of a mid 14 (14.3-14.7) w/ ideal traction, that's better than what you said about 6 months ago, I remember you saying you ran a 15.2.
I have witnessed CRX w/ B16 run 13s (13.7 @ 96mph). My point being, a GSR engine is a more powerful engine, but at what cost?
GSR HB run lets say a low 14 w/ good traction and good driving, a B16A HB runs would you agree mid 14 w/ good driving? I only am concerned w/ informing everyone w/ all possible angles of info. Instead of just saying this sucks, why not post some times backing up these suggestions, this is advice to everyone.
My Zex'd LS in my HB ran a 14.1 at 101 mph on street tires and a full interior after I sold it (I never took it to the track)...I raced a 95 T/A auto (intake, headers, full exhaust)from a roll 3 times, I beat him by 1 1/2 cars the first 2 times and by only about a car the last time, I was running low on pressure and juice.
