Default if you drag race please come here

i'm the owner of a 98 hatch, i'm thinking about selling it and getting a gsr, i'm not sure about it yet. Bue i wanted you guys to tell me what mods you guys have done, i mostly have just been on the civic threads, and people tell me tegs are slow and heavy.

i dont think i want to go with forced induction, just all motor. what mods would i do, just pulley's intake, headers?

what would that do say.... vs a b16 hatch?

hhmmmm GSR Vs a B16 hatch? I think it would b pretty close the hatch might edge out the GSR tho. As far as mods All motor.... I would say start out with your basic I/H/C/E then maybe some cams and tuning. Tegs arn't exactly heavy either I dont know the exact weight but somewhere near 2650 lbs

My teg is ~2400 lbs, I wouldn't call that heavy.

oh yeah and don't forget...

racing with a hatch is like being in the special olympics, you may win... but you're still retarted.

Tegs are not slow and heavy. They are just slow. Preludes on the other hand are slow and heavy.

An Integra is supposedly higher on the "food chain" of honda/acuras versus a civic hatchback, but hatches w/b16 or b18 engine swaps will consistently out-do a comparably modified integra, on the strip (and on a road course). That's only if you don't mind driving a civic hatchback, although I think the EK's can be made to look pretty nice.

i have both a hybrid hatch and my gsr
the hatch is fun, well not right cuz cuz its DOA, but the integra just feels more safer, its more stable and i like it way more then any of my civics i have owned

but if you want pure speed get a eg or ek chassis throw in a b18c engine and your good to go
