A GSR will consistantly walk all over a b16 hatch with equal mods.

If it was me, and it was a drag car, I wouldn't hesitate to do an H22.

Drag racing: Turbo B18C1 or H22A, although the H22A would take a little more to swap in.

I recommended a B16a earlier but it's more for the road race crowd.

a b16 hatch vs. GSR? :eh: hatch =
hatches are nice looking and can be made to look clean as heck.. and yes with a engine swap CAN be quick...but not with a B16.

Integras slow and heavy??? maybe depending on what you drive, but a civic isnt going to go anywhere with a B sh*tsteen.

when my car was a pretty much stock B18B with boltons, i raced an EF (4thgen hatch) with a B16 swap... we stayed even until about 110mph then i started pulling around 120 (im guessing he either backed off or the car was just struggling for more revs)

Sure you can make a Hatch faster, it is lighter. You can still swap in any motor you basically would with an INtegra, but.... its a civic.

No im not knocking them guys, its just I've driven a million civics and they all free cheesy and less comfy/safe than my Integra.
I get in my integra, and while it may be a false sense of security and luxury, it definatly feels better than the CIvic.

Just my 0.02

So if youw ant brute power and dont care about anything else, keep the hatch.
If you want an all around more comfy, and better FEELING car, go with the Integra.

hahah, why so touchy? We all drive the same car here Seems like you already forgot I gave props to your LS/VTEC Integra in your other thread.

Chris Rado's "Teg" is FAR from the integra I have sitting in my garage (what motor does he have anyways?). I'm getting off-topic but take it easy, I was just kidding around.

Compared to what a B18C can do in a civic hatch, tegs appear slow. But they're still very very competent. I personally would take an integra over a civic hatch, but that's just me.

No... I didn't forget. I just don't like Integras to be classified as "Slow" You must realize I OWN more than one lol

But you do too... u just don't consider it "fast" like I consider mine.
... Which now it is finished, it is for sale. go check it out. $9000.00 OBO (ooo that's a nasty plug I'll get in trouble for that ;-)
