Yes Ls/vtec Again!!
I know this is a very old story, but in summary, what you like and what you don't like about the LS/VTEC setup? Why you did the setup or why you don't even think about it?
I'm considering buy a port/polished VTEC head to start my project.I want to take my time and do it right, for the first time.
Thanks.

Advantages: it's powerful and cheap, assuming you only want the engine to last a week. Disadvantages: it is very expensive to make a low-rev engine rev high reliably (i.e., not spin rod bearings or other horrible things) and by the time you are done you might as well have bought a B17A or B18C swap for the money.
I 'think' the thread was on another forum's 'tech review - articles' section. Try a site which rhymes with 'Dondafision.com'. You'll need to sign up before you can read any of the threads.

For the price of a b18c, you could have a built lsvtec or b20vtec making way more power, and a safe revver.
