Advantages: it's powerful and cheap, assuming you only want the engine to last a week. Disadvantages: it is very expensive to make a low-rev engine rev high reliably (i.e., not spin rod bearings or other horrible things) and by the time you are done you might as well have bought a B17A or B18C swap for the money.
