need help changing my manual transmission fluid on my 92 teg

i didn't think it did. but someone questioned me on that so i was double checking. thanx. So how much actually needs to be put in it. i've heard everywhere from 2.2 to overflowing.

The shop manual states that a drain and refill requires 2.2 quarts. I just fill it until it starts leaking out the filler hole.

Honda specifies that Manual transmission oil should be replaced every 15k miles.. and if you track your car then it is wise to do it every other oil change or even every oil change if used in competitive events. -- as mentioned by others-- go with the genuine Honda MTF. not only does it have protective additives but it also has friction modifiers that help the synchros engage more smoothly in cold weather startup and in hot driving conditions.
