Default New headlights.

I recieved and installed my new 1 piece(non projector) headlights just yesterday. I had done the fog light trick for them to run with out the headlights prior to this, and it worked fine. Now that I install the new housings, and connect wire to wire for the fog lights, they ran for about 15 minutes, and then would blow the 15A fuse for Instrument Panel, Park, Fog, and Tail lights. I replaced the fuse(15A), and did it again. same out come, So I replaced the fuse and tried a different approach and wired the fogs to the parking lights, which also worked for about 10 minutes and blew the same fuse AGAIN.. Now, is my only remedy for this running a separate relay to some sort of switch ?..

Some one had mentioned using a bigger fuse, such as 30A in place of the 15, But I will not risk this unless i am 100% sure I wont either starta fire, or actually blow my fog bulbs... I do not want to risk ruining the housing..

I wouldn't recommend putting a higher amperage fuse in. You will risk frying other components. You need to run a relay.

I dont quite understand it by just the text, I have purchased a Relay kit. I will consult the links you gave me when I have the stuff in my hands, for some reason when it comes to wiring outside of car audio, I am 100% stoopid. I will attempt the unknown once I am home. Thanks 4 the links, I cant google at work this is about the only site that works from my computer here

Default Relay Kit

Okay, well for 20$ or so, I got a relay kit from Autozone. And I wired EVERYTHING according to the directions. Gave it power, and the light in the switch came on. When I pressed it to turn on the fogs, I would get nothing but a click.

WTF is up ??.. These are not add on fog lights, they are aftermarket 1pc headlights and in my old teggy, I had some similar to it, and just ran it into my parking lights.. It blows my fuse in about 10 minutes EVERYTIME wired to parking, or wired directly to the foglight wires under the hood. Why cant I get this to work ?!.. Can anyone offer assistance? - I obviously wired my relay properly if the pwr light came on.. But Icant get the lights to go..

the kit is made for add on foglights, like the ones you bolt to your bumpers and what not.. is that the problem ?..
