If it's the upper drivers mount, it is bolted to the block, so I'm sure it can be taken out and replaced.

its the upper motor mount connected to the block on the drivers side......I see that the motor mount itself is intact but the dealer claim that the metal piece from the block to the motor mount is broken....also the bottom mount on the same side has the bolt fallen out..i got it back in but the rubber mount has this bolt going through now no longer sits in the middle....I'm still skeptical about this...if the mount actually broke..wouldn't the car shake at idle???and at all times???....the car jerks when I shift or when I'm crusiing...I got different opinions from others..some saying its engine related and some say its the transmission...and the dealer say its the motor mount....bottom line I don't want to spend boo koos and get fuked at the end.....suggestions guys?????

Get picture's of the mount from different angle's, then we can give you more help. If it's just the metal piece that the mounts to the block, then you can replace that, but if the bolts holding that piece to the block ripped out(which seems damn near impossible) you'll have to replace the engine.

If the bolts ripped out, but didn't take a chunk of the side of the block out, you might be able to have that fixed too....but I'm not positive.

I just brought my car to a honda/acura specialist that deals with ls/vtec and other stuff...They told me it got nothing to do with my motor mounts.... they said my motor mount bolts were loose because of my engine misfiring...giving it jerks when I drive. That probably loosen my motor mounts on the bottom and making the acura dealer think that my upper mount to the block broke...come to think of it...the dealer mechanics were using a crow bar pushing against my block and saying "You see how it moves"...I dunno but to me it didn't move much...I think dey were just trying to rip me off...luckily I went around for different opinions and with ya guys help made me think..thanks yo..
