First question i personally would say no, but its up to you. Plus Comptech will have no warrenty on it so if somthing goes wrong your screwed. Plus 340 bux is alot IMO i spent 95 dollars for my Injen short ram and it works great. Or i would do the DIY project over spending that much..

Second question, yes this auction says its for a GSR, even if you switch it out for a Skunk2 Intake manafold it should still fit with no issue as long as you get GSR Skunk2 intake manafold.

Good luck.

it requires the intake kit h:

personally it's all up to what you want out of it. personally I'd go with a comptech or a short ram because of the throttle response afforded by both. but then again you get a better charge from both the comptech and the CAI... so if you really want the best of both worlds go with the comptech... me, i'll stick with a short-ram

Well I already received the full kit today. I ended up getting the icebox with the intake. In the picture, it shows two blue silicone hoses. Do i need them? Because those are the only things I didnt get...
