Default Buying Intake

Well I've been doing some research on intakes and need your guys' opinions. Haven't really figured out if the Comptech Icebox or AEM CAI give you more power. Schmoo said he'd go with the Comptech and it produces more hp than the AEM. Do you guys agree??

Comptech, IMO it's a lot better. It's a little pricier but its worth it.

You would need to buy the Comptech shortram then buy the icebox.

I remember a user a while back named PikkaGTR who switched from an AEM CAI to a Comptech Icebox and documented at least a 5 hp gain over most of the powerband. I searched around for the post and came up empty. :dunno:

This is a good site it did tests on intakes to compare their performance. I ended up getting a Injen short ram because it performed the best.

So you guys dont think $340 for the icebox and comptech intake kit w/ air filter is worth it??
If later on I was to swap my oem gsr intake manifold to a skunk 2, will the comptech intake fit properly on that?
