One recommendation(not pointed towards anyone)- don't shorten your battery's life by listening to music powered by an external amplifier with the car off. That is, unless you have a deep-cycle, but I hear the Optimas are discontinued.

I would just take it to get it tested and/or fully recharged if necessary, after all, its free.

just measure the voltage at the actual battery, there can be a drop when you measure it at a component. not positive but i think charging problems can lead to starter problems.

Save your money. Replace the 2 brass contacts in the starters. It only costs like 10 bucks.

a little odd but if it doesn't start sluggish it's all good. Maybe your meter is off?

Good advice. You can sand your old ones too. I did that over three years ago and not one problem since.
