FMU's only suck for cars that arent turbo'd from the factory...but for cars that are factory turbo charged then they're pretty good...like the apexi SAFC...but for cars that arent factory turbo charged they wont do it....you need like(for honda) crome, neptune, hondata or if you got big money AEM

those are not fmu's. they are ems'. fmu's add extra fuel to compensate for boost it sees and are generally not adjustable.

Yes, you will need a specific oil line kit. I ordered my return line fittings from this guy: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1551152&page=1. He will know what fittings/gaskets/hose you need for your specific application.

What are you talking about??

That is a FMU. It increases fuel pressure at the rail, based on PSI from the turbocharger. Similar to how a wastegate works.

More info:

In a very limited fashion, the Apexi AFC alters your injector pulse, and fuel curve.

no, it's a piggy back ems. this is an fmu:

this particular one is a 12:1 rising rate regular. for every 1psi of boost it sees it raise fuel pressure by 12psi.

How bout the bottom end, should he leave it alone or change the piston. How long will the stock bottom end last?

i wouldnt push a stock b20 block over 300whp for very long. it is notorius for having weaker sleeves than other b series. some guys have gotten lucky with making more power, but they have very good tunes. i would definitely sleeve it if you're looking to make more power.

Your bottom end will be okay to a certain WHP. I'm not sure on the numbers of a b20. Probably somewhere around 250 whp with a true tunning solution.

Upgrade the internals for power near 400 whp.
