Default comparing suspensions

I need to know a little bit about these two struts, I heard a 93-95 honda civic had the same rear struts as the 94-96 acura integra... is it true? A classmate of mine told me. need to find out this with all you honda/acura tech in here.

Yes, they will fit but the spring rates are different.

I believe he's talking about the shocks... not the springs.

Since the spring rate is higher for OEM Integra springs, I would expect the rebound damping on Integra shock to be firmer as well.

I would err on the side of caution and use OEM Integra rear shocks, even though the 92-96 Civic shocks may fit.

If your car "bounces", I would definitely look into a shock absorber with an adjustable damper. Koni Yellow's are top choice, but Tokico illumina or KYB AGX are more affordable.

For the time being, you should try to adjust your springs close to OEM ride height.

If your car is bouncing, it means your shocks are damn near shot.

If by "adjustable springs" you mean coilover sleeves... I hope for your sake that you did not install them on your stock shocks. :ugh:

Did you install adjustable springs (coil over's) ? If yes, then you must get an adjustable shock absorber like listed above.

If your staying OEM, use Integra Springs and Shock Absorbers. The civic spring rates could potentially be your problem. If your shocks are blown, they are also contributing to the problem.

Weight in your trunk might make your suspension feel different, but definitely not "bouncy".
