So will that mugen header for b18 that I gave a link to will work on my car b17? As for clearene, my car is only droppped about inch and a half so I'm to afraid of scrapping.

 

It will bolt up to the head, but underneath will be the issue. Slight if any...the 1.7 and 1.8 heads are different just in that .1 butt hair of displacement. Only thing, that motor was not out very long and so that is why you can't find shit that might or might not fit. You can always cross reference part numbers.

 

I will just get it and it looks like another one is up on sale on ebay that the guy claims he took off a b16b. I will just try and get both and the one that does not fit I will just find someone to sell to. Thanks for your help guys.

 

b16/b17 blocks are actually 8-10mm shorter than b18 blocks. so it will hang lower on b16 blocks if designed for a b18.

a b16b shares the same block as a b18. so again, a header for that will hang lower on your b17. just get a header designed for a b16a or b17 to avoid any potential problems.
