and all you guys.
It's all in their hands as of tomorrow morning, I'm riding the bike around for the rest of the evening (oh darn) and that's that.
I wont be paying for a dime of the repairs as it wasn't an issue before.
So thanks again guys.
I'll let you know the verdict tomorrow.
So today it goes in to get fixed.
I get it back, and it's doing the same thing it did last night which was the pad slipping and the rotor feeling warped and it all vibrating really badly.
The manager drives it and literally gets disgusted at his workers (yells at them if they even looked at the car) and says he'll have it done tonight no matter how long it takes.
What im afraid is when they put the new rotors on and new pads, it's still gonna heat up too much (because they screwed up the master cylinder by chance and the calipers are grabbing) and it causes the rotor to overheat after like 5 miles of driving, causing the pads to fade and the rotor to warp.
That's waht happened last time with 2 miles of driving, not even, more like 1.5.
So we'll see. IF that happends and I wreck, guess who gets sue'd?

damn dude, that sucks. Id report that place to BBB if they are a member, thats just unacceptable. do it yourself man. it couldnt be any simpler
1. jack up car, take off wheel
2. unbolt two bolts holding caliper on (hang it from a bungee cord or something so you dont F up the lines.
3. then i believe there are two more bolts holding a brace/guide type thing(sorry dont know the name).
4. Unscrew the 4 screws holding the rotor on
5. reverse all that to put the new rotors/pads on. torque it to spec, bleed the lines if neccesary and youre done. easy as that.
I dont see how a shop can screw that up(granted the first time i did it i overtorqued the caliper pins and wore down a pad on one side) So learn from my mistakes!

Well, I would have *****ed if they hadn't been totally cool and apologetic the entire time. In any case, here's what happened.
I have no idea if the rotors are still heating up beyond belief, but I took it for a drive. The pedal grabs much higher, there's absolutely no vibration. It stops harder (and I havnt even put more than like 1lb of pressure on the pedal).
When I looked at the rotors before you could see the broken apart baked brake pad, now you cant, its just an even wear mark (they remachined the fronts, but not the back, and gave me $100 back).
I wish they had machined the rears, because on those too you can see the black **** from the pads all throughout the rotor.
But, all in all, the car stosp really well.
I guess time will tell if its overheating and causing it to warp or not.
Now its time to get my new tires put on.
Guys, thanks for all your help.
