Default Sway Bar endlinks confusion

I have a 96 GSR. The enlinks that are on the car have a right angle. However the aftermarket endlinks are straight.

You can see the two different styles. Does anyone make aftermarket endlinks for the angled one(#6).

Which one goes with which models or did they change the design mid-year/

Are you changing the front one? Why? Aftermarket bar should come with the correct links to fit your car.

Good question...I need to replace mine as well. The left front endlink is completely separated from the LCA because I guess the bushing wore out. :noes:

Yes .....My endlinks are worn out and making some rattling noises. The OEM ones are like $60 bucks each. OUCH!

Anyone know of a company or site to get endlinks cheaper.

Also, really quick.....when installing a front sway(when i deside to do aftermarket), do you really have to take down the cat?? Sounds like a pain.

thanks

Can't you just replace that bushing? #5 for $5.31 ea?

I noticed that #1 wasn't listed, only #2 for front sway.

The bushing in number 6 is sealed. Its in the angled part and that is what is blown. I think that they discontinued the front sway number 1 mid year. Not sure how that design is better. Maybe helps with wheel hop.

I am assuming that the sway bar you ordered was for a non-GSR/Type R as they both have the same size front sway bar. In the picture above the front strut bar is a good indication that it was only the GSR/Type R that had that type sway bar. You could call the company you got the sway bar from but if the front sway bar has the same mounting holes as the stock then I would expect the OEM mounts to work.
