Same with mine. Check to see if there's any leaks in the clutch cylinder. I have a leak. Might be the problem?

Check the nut on the underside of the pedal and see if its loose. The cable connected to it is how you adjust the catch point on the clutch pedal. I had a similar problem with my car and the nut had just come loose and so the adjustment slipped. If that is the case, you may have to play around with the adjustment till it feels right. If thats not it, my money is on one of the cylinders.

when i went to get an estimate to have my syncro's replaced from a local shop, they told me it would be better and probably cheaper to just find a used tranny. i also got an estimate of nearly $1k from gearspeed for the same thing. ouch.

Basically, you are going to replace your clutch at the same time too...kinda like doing the water pump when you do the timing belt; one of the reasons why it is expensive. Plus a tranny rebuild takes labor...you're paying for time, not parts.
