Check the nut on the underside of the pedal and see if its loose. The cable connected to it is how you adjust the catch point on the clutch pedal. I had a similar problem with my car and the nut had just come loose and so the adjustment slipped. If that is the case, you may have to play around with the adjustment till it feels right. If thats not it, my money is on one of the cylinders.
