Get your battery and alternator tested. My money would be on a failing alternator (because of the diming lights). The main relay WOULD NOT cause this.

That Maybe The Reason Ur Car Turns Off When U Start It I Know The Ditributor's Go Out On Hondas Cause Thats What Happened 2 Me As Of The Lights Dimming I Dont Know Cause When The Distributor Go's Out U Still Should Have Power 2 Ur Lights Welll Hope This Help's
