automatic window question
hey as you may kno over the years ,the automatic windows on any car in general tend to become slow, slower than factory that is,i kno sounds like a dumb question, its just annoying waiting for the freakin thing to come up so im wondering if u guys kno how to fix that problem or make it faster as if it wer new, or if it needs a new motor to propell the thing (i dunno) but if u have any answers, thanks, sorry for the long story
clean the tracks then lubricate it.
search for it in the articles section of team-integra.net
while you are at it you might as well make sure that those rubber peices are attached aswell (you ever hear a rattling noise when closing the door with the windows down?)

actually it's not normal.
from the factory there is a neoprene that holds everything in place and takes care of the rattling.
just like everything else on the car the glue doesnt like to stick too well and eventually they fall off into the doors. you just have to open the door and pick it up off the floor, placing it back in it's original spot with some glue.

you take off the triangular peice in the corner of the window first. near where the mirrors are on the outside.
then you take out all the screws you find. theres one behind the door lever, one in the armrest handle might be one or two more, but those are the hidden ones.
then you start at the top right of the door and just pull out the inside trim.
be careful the glue that holds the plastic shield on is very annoying. i suggest having a can of goo gone ready (goo gone is reccommended as it wont harm paint or anything as long as you wash it off. this is NOT GOOF OFF it is called goo gone and it should get rid of it, or so i'm told.)
