I have a 98 GS Sedan and want to tint the windows using a metalized tint. I understand the radio antenna is integrated into the rear window. Has anyone tinted the rear window of their 98+ sedan with metalized tint and if so, did it affect the radio reception much?

 

i have tints on the rear window. no it didnt affect the reception. but i dont think i have that metalized tint.

 

i dont think it should afect it too much but do u listen to the radion that much, i always listen to cds

 

I do listen to CDs more, maybe 70/30 over the radio, but the fact is I do listen to the radio and would hate to have my reception suffer because of the tint. I suppose I could just go with the non-metalized tint so this wouldn't be an issue. But then I'd have to deal with a window tint that will fade over time. Man, I wish that antenna wasn't in the window!
