well if you go from a B17 crank to a B18C crank then youll actually gain some displacement from the added stroke....but if you go from the B18B/B20 to a b18c crank then yeah you lose some displacement, but not much. what will get affected more is the torque curve will shift and be less flat than as if you had a b18b/b20 crank. i say you stick with the B17 crank :thumbup:

yeah, we figured that out doing a little math. With my b17 crank in, its my little security device. My rod ratio is great and i dont have to worry about the cylinder going through the wall at 8k or at least 8.5k or maybe 9k but thats pushing it. ..lol.. if i went the b18c crank i would gain some displacement back but lose my rod ratio by a little. its ok, i love my enigne right now...lol...

Anyone got one in their civic? Since I dont have a teg I will need LS tranny, ecu, intake mani, intake, LS ecu, LS header... and what else?

if youre going for a stock swap..thats it. but id look into axles as well.
