Edit: and my valves are really noisey.

1. I doubt that.
2. Adjust your valves.

Done.

Why waste 300 or so on some cams when I can put the money toward a new motor?

I really want the B20 sooooo bad. What would I need to do to convert to OBD1? Alternator, starter, dizzy, intake mani? Would I be able to use my existing harness and ECU with the converted B20? Hmotors sells them for 650 and Password is selling them for 550 vs the 750+ for the B18B

I haven't done a compression test yet on it, I will do it soon though.

the b20 will bolt right up and give you more power. The engine is less money also. If you wanna turbo, get the b20b, if NA then try to get the b20z. They are good motors and again, it WILL all bolt right up to the set up you have now.

if you REALLY wanna go fast, go with the b20 motor and the b16 lsd tranny.
