Default Subframe Tearout

Comptech 22mm old style sway. Been on the car for probably 5-6 years. I was pulling into a parking lot at a 45 degree angle and I heard a huge cracking sound.

What am I do to now?

It's fixable, but it's going to require a fair bit of downtime.
The rear suspension will have be to be fully stripped and the new rear subframe will have to be welded in with great care. Welding the cracks and tears will not prevent them from reopening.

Find the most talented frame repair specialists in town and be ready to take out a second mortgage. :hs:

My condolences.

So they just couldn't weld in some reinforcements or something? Surely it's that horribly expensive to do that.

Damn, that really isn't good. I have the newest version of the Comptech bar and this along with CivicSiRacer having his endlink bolts back out and fall out make me nervous about the design of the setup.

What kind of springs/shocks do you have?
