i must say though... im kinda looking forward to actually HAVING oversteer lol. gimme a call when your putting them in... i'll be bored im sure
Yeah, they should be going in weekend after next. If you want to help, that would be cool. This will be my 3rd suspension change (and hopefully the last), so I am very comfortable with the procedure. I can't wait.

This weekend, if you are bored, I am pulling the head (for the 7th time), getting the head resurfaced, and installing some head studs to fix my minor headgasket leak.

i have rs*r springs and love them, and you can get them for around $100-$200 if you look in the right places

Im assuming you are pretty settled on those rates but just for anyone else in the future who reads this, I went with 400f/400r and it is pretty damn stiff. It isn't unbarable, but you feel eveything, not so much little cracks and stuff like I thought, but any dip in the road that you wouldn't even notice before now feels like a bump. For everyday driving it actually makes you slow down because of all the bumps.

Unless you have some specific goal in mind that you need your car to handle well for (like auto-X or track days) I would suggest picking something something between what i have and the rates the GC ship with. Good tires, bushings and the normal GC setup will give you more handling than you will ever want to explore on the street.

Yeah, I imagine it will be damn stiff, but anything to improve my traction and braking will be a godsend. I think the spring rates, Koni Yellows, and my Comptech sway bar will make it handle like it is on rails.

The California roads suck, but luckily I am moving to Colorado in August, so it will be more bearable.

The current springs won't need to be compressed since I got them on without doing so. I don't know about the ground controls, but if I need one, Autozone isn't too far.

The guy that is shipping the Koni Yellows won't have them in until next week at least, so I am seeing if someone else has them in stock and ready to ship since the GC's have already shipped. I'll let you know if it is even on for weekend after next.

what would you guys reccomend for a set up that will be used primarily for autocross and road courses. i realize that i cant have the best of both worlds for obvious reasons but if i set up crazy stiff for autocross im gonna have bump steer out the ass at limerock, so its gotta be something that can handle both with some trade offs. this car is also gonna be driven somewhat daily and i still want it to be somewhat comfortable, if thats possible. i was thinking of going with kyb agx's for dampers because my friends have had good experience with them, but i dont know what to do for springs. and im on a budget so coilovers are out of the question. any suggestions for me?

I have Eibach Sportlines with stock struts now. the ride is smooth, not bumpy or hard like some others. I know its only springs but for the time being it gives me the drop that i want. Also for some reason i noticed a DECREASE in body roll arround turns and all.... Im liking this lol. but it will only be time before i go and buy my Buddy Club Setup
