my sister got my accord as her first car, she complains because she wishes she had a beaters she could tool around in like i did. trust me. beaters are more fun. Cheaper. less of a hassle, you get to worry about driving and not "oh my god is my car going to break?"

after you grow accustomed to driving get a newer car and you'll appreciate it for the machine it is.

I know it's your first car, Everyone's First car gets lots of fender benders and alot of weird Stuff happens to them. I crashed my first car and i thought i drove great. If you wanna sacrifice your teg to be this gueny pig, then it's your call.

Get a beater, drive that for a year and then once you get your baby... you'll love her more.

but 5-7k can get you a very nice LS integra.

I own a GSR. My fav things...

Leather seats that are truly bolstered. Not just "sport seats"
Like everyone else says the looks, and the lines of the car.
Handling

The bad:
Expensive insurance, needs premium gas, theft, still needs torque.

some people tell you to get a beater. I never did. I saved up for 3 years and just put money down on my GSR. I say save up, and get it done right.
