teg qualitys
yeah preludes were an other option in there. i like there body styles and their engine. i would get the 92-96 lude because that is in my price range. i just want a small honda/acura that i can build up over a period of time.
Its a hard decision to make...Ive never driven an Integra..But i will let you know out of the 2 ludes that i have owned ( 1 88 and my 92)....They are great cars....If you would buy a 4th gen find one thats Vtec
In my experience, I was 17, actually come to think of it 16 when I got my GSR. I had a 98 Supersonic Blue Pearl GSR. God I loved and really miss it.
Things I loved about it, the color (of course) the style, the body design was just awsome. I got compliments everywhere from that car.
The power for a 1.8 NA 4 cyl was amazing
And still got about 30mpg highway and about 22-28 on backroads and city. Everything was great on that car, I really regret getting rid of it...long live the GSR
Things that I didnt like about it were the high cost. It was a really expensive car to begin with, and at 16 paying my own insurance of $240 PER MONTH was a little crazy. Thats the main reason I was forced to sell.
Just for reference here WAS my baby

That pic is from 2002, less than a year after I bought her. It was right after the suspension work, but before the exhaust & drivetrain mods. The only major visual difference now is that the car rolls on 205/45R16 tires, so it's just barely tucking tire in rear.
As soon as the weather clears up and I find myself with free time, I'll snap some new pics and add them to the Gallery Thread. :run:

* The handling and power are great (when you consider the price of the car).
* And the coupe is capable of hauling an incredible amount of stuff.
I moved down to LA from SF last summer... and I was really impressed with how much room you've got to play with. Also suprising was how well the car performed, even when loaded with 600-800lbs of cargo.

Lastly, the reliability is just fantastic. As you go through HS & College, the luxury of having a reliable car that is fun to drive can't be beat. Do the regular maintenance on time and the car keeps running like a champ.
* The fuel efficiency is also pretty darn good.
I drive fairly aggressively and get 24 - 26 mpg on city streets... and as much as 35mpg on the longer highway trips.
And since Reno posted his, I might as well follow suit.
It's an older pic, but still pretty accurate..

And in case I forgot to do so before..... Welcome to HAN.
