I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but I found that those cheap filters cause an annoying whistle. My friend told me to switch to a K&N and that stupid whistle went away.
those things are basically several layers of cotton. They work as "filters" but not very well and they restrict airflow terribly.... if you have $15-20.... just go get another filter... or will that break the bank?
