Default Finally some music ^_^

So I got to installing a stereo in the car today. I got some more donated parts from friedns as well as a super cheap sony deck so now I can have some tunes while I drive around town.

Sony Deck not sure what model. It plays MP3's and CD's so I am happy ^_^

This is how the thiefs left the car stereo.. not bad I guess.

Didnt feel like soldering the wires so I jsut used soem cheap connectors and heat shrink stuff

heres the deck installed with dash kit

So just for fun I added up the total cost spent on the whole thing so far:

Car - $650
Battery - Free (Pulled from 510)
Exh Mani - Free (donated from bro's GSR)
Exh Mani gasket - $12
Mani to Cat gasket/ring - $20
Exh mani to car hardware - $35
Welding up hole in exhaust piping - $40
Wheels - Free (brought from home and a friend)
Wipers - $20
SI shiftknob - Free (donated from friend)
Map light bulbs - $2
Wire connectors and heat shrink tubing - $5
Sony deck - $20
Dash Kit - $18
Acura harness - Free (donated from friend)
Sony harness - Free (donated from friend)

Total spent so far = $822

Well today was a productive but sad day haha. I removed teh rear seats and trunk carpeting to find 1) I am missing the rear seatbelts, not the shoulder part but the shorter piece it clicks into. 2) There is a shitload of water getting in from somewhere. I took some pics of possible locations but I dont have time to post them, it will have to wait til after work.

On top of all that the clutch needs to be replaced and I am getting (what I think) is shitty gas mileage for a Honda/Acura Im at 100 miles so far on half a tank? Am I correct in assuming because there is no 02 sensor the car will use more fuel? I noticed that even tho the car isnt runnign a 02 sensor, the CEL isnt even on. I want to get this fixed so everything is to stock normal specs.
