now to answer ur question... yes i do believe that a teg would be better (same as everyone) but it seems like you DO care a little about looks for this car.. so therefor the 3rd gen would be your best bet... IMHO i would say that the main reason for that is if you plan to beat this car to shit... g3 is likely to have less mileage and have been beaten less than a g2 or g1... buy as new as you can for as cheap as you can ... rebuild, turbo FTW

hes going to get a swap anyways so engine does not matter. and for drag and track the G1 would be best because of its weight, but the G2 also weights less than the G3 h: gutting a G1 > G2 > G3

he said he wants it as a project..and he didn't want a tiny boxy piece of shit (g1), but this is also a side project meaning that most of his money will be going into other things... so something as crazy as an engine swap (required for older gens) would be pointless and expensive, when he could have just bought the car w/ less mileage... stripped it the fuck down and reduced the weight that made the difference between those models

to me that looks like he wants to swap it... and wants a cheap car so i dont think its going to be a daily...so he may as well want a shit box (g1). and wat do u mean expensive swap? G2 costs 3k MAX then an LS swap is 750 h: stripping a G2 is more efficient than stripped a G3, and is cheaper

Its all his personal preference in the looks dept. I am sure there are many more upgrades available for G3 but he has to set his goals and go from there

Why would you swap an LS motor into an G2?

If you want cheap and fast, screw Hondas. Pick up a beat ass S13 for $1000 and swap a SR20 into it. The swap will cost less than a GSR motor, will be a hell of a lot faster, and RWD.

Yea but maybe he just likes Hondas. Getting a FWD Honda into low numbers on the strip is quite an acomplishment to be proud of.
