h: now to answer ur question... yes i do believe that a teg would be better (same as everyone) but it seems like you DO care a little about looks for this car.. so therefor the 3rd gen would be your best bet... IMHO i would say that the main reason for that is if you plan to beat this car to shit... g3 is likely to have less mileage and have been beaten less than a g2 or g1... buy as new as you can for as cheap as you can ... rebuild, turbo FTW

he said he wants it as a project..and he didn't want a tiny boxy piece of shit (g1), but this is also a side project meaning that most of his money will be going into other things... so something as crazy as an engine swap (required for older gens) would be pointless and expensive, when he could have just bought the car w/ less mileage... stripped it the fuck down and reduced the weight that made the difference between those models
