Default Bushings

as of late I have this sqeak coming from my rear sounds like from the rear suspension, i lubed up all the bushings and it stopped but it keeps coming back. So im thinking i need new bushings, but my question is to which set to get???

who did your suspension install? do you know if everything was torqued down under load? if they weren't, that could lead to squeaking.

ya im pretty sure everything was torqued down, he did say i needed new bushings which is why i just assumed it was the bushing that i needed

well, there's a difference between being torqued down, and being torqued down under load. if this is a suspension shop, i would assume they would know to do the latter.

it's certainly not out of the question that you need to bushings, but it's possible that you don't. sometimes mechanics like to recommend things that are unnecessary.

if you're going to replace your bushings, polyurethane is probably the way to go. do a search and you should find plenty of info.. however, you should be aware that it's more of a pain in the ass to do bushings than springs/shocks.

The bushings can squeek and it is not necessarily a bad thing. It's kind of like chewing on a balloon. The bushings on my cambe kit squeek and have done so since I've had it. No problems, and that is my example. I notice that it only does it when it is cold outside. Other than that, it's fine.

good deal thanks alot guys i appreciate it, i figured i wouldnt buy them cause when i sprayed white lithium grease on them they stoped squeaking
