You can go two routes for the "main protection."
being a block guard, or getting your engine sleeved.
Block guard = cheaper, engine sleeving = usually race spec, or high PSI.

Forged Rods & Pistons
New Piston Rings
Engine Management
Turbo accepting Intake, Header and Exhaust
Tuning, etc, etc...

There's a LOT of things you need to do...
if you're car's stock, which i'm going to assume it is..
start a little bit smaller...

when you plan on doing stuff to a car, plan everything out.
example being, I planned on shipping my engine out to be bored/sleeved..
SO, while the engine's already out, to save any labor costs, or labor of my own, THAT is when I would be putting in the engine mounts...
etc etc..

A good place to start for most people is suspension, bring the car a little lower so it handles better, then go ahead and think about i/h/e, etc etc.

just make good use of the search button on this site, and check out www.team-integra.net as well, cuz they have some useful info too...
best of luck, hope I was a help.

What turbo (ie. Saab, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Suby) would be best for the teg in terms of space , keeping the ac, would a WRX turbo be too big?

Pretty much all stock passenger car turbos are dinky. The downpipe and manifold will dictate whether you keep power steering and air conditioning.

On another note.... many ppl convert to the half-sized radiator, to fit it all in...
my friend's GSR-T has the full sized radiator still, and he used a slim-line radiator fan, (the company name is escaping me at the moment.) but that would be the best bet, Imo, because the double 10-bladed fans are much more efficient than the stock four-bladed fans... when his car idles, they come on for like 20sec, and then shut off again, because that's all it takes.

If anyone else thinks of the name before I do, post it, if not, i'll be back when I remember it.
