I may be going to the dark side...Testing waters on the GSR
On a side note, is it just me or do overwhelming number of honda people prefer the STi to the more popular Evo?
is the snow and cold weather the only reason for ditching the teg? It would make more sense to just get an old imprezza RS AWD or something similar and throw some knobby snow tires on it. Cause I mean worst case there will probably only be like 60 or so days where you can't drive the teg. unless you really need to go fast in the snow.

if you really wanted something for snow travel get a jeep or small 4x4 truck.
the STI doesnt have the ground clearance I would chance in possibly hitting an ice chunk. though it will have traction just fine it is still pretty much a car.

Good luck man, I'm in the same boat...but I'm just going to end up selling the rims and trading my car in as is. I don't want to deal with selling it...listing it, phone calls, test drives, blah blah. Hope it works out for ya bro.
