Still no word from the insuranse people. Yeah I'll try and get the intake and strut bar out. Thats about the only things that I've done. I still have the steelies as well. If I take the intake out I'll have to put the stock one back in so I have to see if I can find it because I have a Injine CIA thats practically brand new.

How long does it take the insurance? It's been 4 days since the acident and they have had the car for 2 days. They don't even have a value on the car though and they said the ajuster is gone for the rest of the week!

my car was sitting at the acura dealer for 2 weeks before the insurance guy went to go see it. the shitty part is our coverage only paid for one month of a rental, and then beyond that they said it wasnt totaled, i didnt get it back for 2 and a half months, 75 days, after it had been stolen even tho it was recovered less than an hour after i reported it.

what insurance company are you with, and do you go thru an agent?

Glad you're ok! Insurance usually takes a minute to look at the car..but when they do look at it, you usually get a check pretty fast. I had Allstate and it took them 2 weeks before they came to look at my car that was totalled. Keep us posted as to what happens and what car you get next!

Yeah luckily we have had nice weather so my stepdad has just been riding his bike. Some lady rear-ended me on my way home from work yesterday tho! I was pissed as hell. The Miata just had a few scuffs but the ladies car had a dint so we just left without calling the police.

As far as if I have to get another car, It's looking like I would be leaving the Honda family

Well I just talked to them and they totaled it. If I keep the car they will take about 900 of that. I don't have the time part out the car so if someone wants to give me a lot more money or better deal I'll sell it as a whole. Or I'm just going to pull the intake and strut bar off and sell those.

Sorry to hear that and a damn shame you are so far. If you were in the area we could have done some business. need a driver side power window replacement and a few other odds and ends. Anyone know if converting from power windows to manual is possible? Or just easier to buy used doors w/ manual windows and door locks.

I have a guy interested in buying the car and I'll be making $300 off the deal if I decide to do it. Anyone who has done this before, do you think it's worth having to go threw the trouble of doing the salvage tag and everything for 300 bucks? To me thats a good chunk of money haha. thanks
