Just talked to insurance and the might be totalling it because it's old! I'm considering them deducting a few hundred and letting me keep the car so I can part it out? What do you guys think?

how many miles are on the engine, for the complete swap you could get 1000 or so wheels could get you another 150-200...
people are always looking for an operational antenna, thats another $50 (just let them know it's oem and will work perfectly look right, and let their vehicle hold value... etc) oem spoiler?
you could easily get an extra 2k parting out if you know the right people, it just wont come all at once.

It's got roughly 113,000 miles on it. I just put a brand new clutch in and it's caught up on all maintinance stuff. Everything on the car is in great condition including interior and motor.

honestly though, it's very clean, just needs a bit of body work, find out how much insurance is willing to give you, in fact, i could use your "operational" antenna lol, if u choose to part it out... but you have a pretty decent set up right now, find out how much insurance will give you for it, if it's more than a few thousand (i.e. 3000+) then take that, if it's not, project car

Thanks I think they'll give me about 5000 hopefully if they decide to total it. As for the "operational" antenna mine is stuck all the way up. Still gets reception but is always all the way up.

i've got the same teg. if you are going to part the car e-mail me. i'd be interested. Unfortunately i just snapped a bolt on the caliper piston and can't get the damn thing out. Just ordered a new caliper. It was old and shitty anyway. They stole the driver side caliper not too long ago. Now they'll both be new. lol
