Do NOT use this tool (below) to hold the crank in place. That tool is made to hold the cams in place. You WILL break stuff if you put a 4 ft breaker bar on the crank bolt with that in place, and it won't be pretty.

I had a hell of a time getting my crank bolt out. I really dont see how you can use that rubber strap thing to possibly hold the crank pulley and break that puppy free. I had 2 spare axle nuts from a quad that were the same size as the crank pulley. Welded those 2 together, then welded a old tire iron to the side of that. Rested that on the frame part and took another tire iron/lugnut tool the same size, and a 3ft bad and jumped on that for about 15sec before it finally popped.

AAAAAAAAAAALL RIGHTY THEN
first attempt tonite.......FAIL
everything was set, nice temp in the air, radio on, full moon.....JK anyways, THE CRACK BOLT DIDNT COME OFF!=( At first i had some strap thing i bought from the dollar store (opens jars i think) LOL YEA that snapped.....i figured it would but HEY if it worked itd be sweet, instead it was just funny. So then i put the car in 5th. used my teloscopic light stand against the seat to hold the brake down and cracked on the bolt. 1/2" pry bar + 4 foot pry bar and with the first try i here "KINK".....bolt braking free. SO i thought it would be clear sailing. NOPE it didnt budge after that. i moved the pry bar about a foot to almost 2 feet in travel distance and stopped. Kinda got scared. I noticed that the cams and belt still move a tiny bit. Other then that it stayed. I DO have a compressor and will try it tomorrow, if that doesnt work then WTF. compressor has a capability of pushing 150psi.....but doesnt the tool matter how much PSI is being used?

Did you PB Blast the bolt first? Also some heat to the bolt will help, propane torch, but not too much. I would keep using the method you are, if you can put that much force on it without moving anything, you'll get it.

I've had to stand on bars to break em free before, nice when it finally pops free!

Just remember to tighten it back up- I must not have the last time I did mine and the key got loose causing the pulley to wobble alittle and move on the crank. Not a good sound when the key pops out and jams into whatever it was while driving (I didn't know what it was until I had the pulley off). After a few months of driving around like this, the pulley was pretty stripped and moved about a half inch away from the key way. Thank God for parts cars!

don't torch it. I Drenched the bolt in Pb blaster / Rust eater. Didn't work, buddy it took 515lbs of lbs of torque to get mine off (the guy from honda somehow came up with that # who helped me).

Go to a shop and have them hit it with a 3/4 impact gun or pay a guy $10-20 on his break to go over there.

dont torch it huh.......wish i would have heard that before! Just got home from working on it and well trial 2.......FAIL. here are some pics

even after torchin git for 2 minutes...this happens

i dont understand WHY this is so hard to pull off. i used my 1/2" drive breaker bar, extension(broke) and a 4 foot pry bar.....didnt work. my compressor was set to 140ish PSI and NOPE didnt work! THIS IS UNREAL. i had a person step on the brakes while its in 5th.....im working on it with the 4' bar and snap. i go flying into some shit falling onto the socket gun and it turns on. VRRRRRRR. scared the shit out of me.....i thought i was DEAD.
This Bolt is GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like you need to go in after that and replace that motor mount too.
