maaaaan thats looks scary. not of loosing parts but of messing something up. wonder if it needs to be done. is there a way to check and see/tell if i need to do this. its got 90k on it, im the 2nd owner, woman who had it before me was a oooold lady and it felt brand new when i got it. i bought it at 70k so i put 20k on it and i dont wanna say i beat on it but i drove it nicely/hard. before i put it away for this winter EVERYTHING ran perfectly! think i need to adjust them?

correct if I'm wrong, but isn't timing belt supposed to be done every 60K mi.?

nope.. every 90k or 6 years, whichever comes first

Yes, they should be adjusted since they most likely have never been adjusted. If they are out of spec too long they can lead to premature wear of the rocker arms and cam lobes.

On a side topic, I got my crank bolt out with a 2 foot breaker bar and the strength of my arms. h:

Just to keep you guys updated, the motor is jacked with some wood, motor mount is off, power steeing pump and lines are lowered(didnt want to take it off) all belts are off, drivers wheel is off long with splash guard........heres a old pic
its been easy so far......hope it stays that way.
BTW what step should i adjust the valves? before, after, during everything being done?

It doesn't matter when the valves are adjusted because they will not change clearances at any point during the timing belt replacement.

And no, I am not strong. I weigh as much as my TV and that really depresses me.

lol, better then weighing as much as 10 tvs and not being able to fit into the teg. HEY its weight reduction if ya ask me. just hit up McD's $1 double cheese boogers
