Either Way It's A Steal, Even If It's Literally A Steal It Is Still Cheap In Price.....also I Never Heard Of A Car Getting Yanked For It's Suspension....i Had 3 Car Stolen From Me And They Never Took The Suspension....... The Guy Said It Came Off Of His Civic...... So I Really Dont Know If It Is Stolen, But There Is No Way For Me To Find Out Either......

Bullshit, I say.
If he bought them for his Civic, he ought to have a reciept.
From the matter of personal protection, I would not buy stolen parts on principle.
I'm a big believer in karma.

^^ absolutely...how would u like to spend 1400 on JUST ur suspension, get it stolen, and then sit there and WATCH it get sold for 1/2 the cost...

i personally wouldn't buy it if i knew it was stolen just because i wouldn't want it happening to me...karma is a bitch...

someones trash can be your treasure (parts classifieds) .... but if it was someone elses treasure.........i dont know where im goin with this....72 hours w/ no sleep has made me delirious

I agree with the sketchiness of the price of those things...maybe a couple of the shocks are blown and need to be rebuilt. Check up on that stuff before putting the money down.

also, will the suspension from a civic even fit on a 'teg?

For street driving, 6/16 Front & Rear ought to be quite tolerable.

If the parts arent "hot" as in stolen, and the dampers are in good shape, I'd go for it.
is that a typo with those spring rates? 6-front, 16-rear?? wouldnt that make your car ridiculously oversteery? even 16-front and 6 rear, that's REALLY stiff, and it won't help at all with ride quality if he's getting 17" wheels (lower profile tires, heavier wheels = rougher ride). Also, if i'm not mistaken the stock rates for the Flex coilovers is 9-front 4 rear. Check rate lists here.

From an EG... it ought to fit, and I believe both the EG and DC kits have identical spring rates. But given

No, it's not a typo. But it was vague. h: Sorry for the confusion.

By 6/16, I meant 6 clicks from fully "open" for both the front and rear dampers.

As a matter of tuning principle, yes.. your analysis is spot on. Excessive roll stiffness in the rear would make the car quite skittish and harsh-riding.
