...is that a typo with those spring rates? 6-front, 16-rear?? wouldnt that make your car ridiculously oversteery? even 16-front and 6 rear, that's REALLY stiff, and it won't help at all with ride quality if he's getting 17" wheels (lower profile tires, heavier wheels = rougher ride). Also, if i'm not mistaken the stock rates for the Flex coilovers is 9-front 4 rear. Check rate lists here.
No, it's not a typo. But it was vague. h: Sorry for the confusion.

By 6/16, I meant 6 clicks from fully "open" for both the front and rear dampers.

As a matter of tuning principle, yes.. your analysis is spot on. Excessive roll stiffness in the rear would make the car quite skittish and harsh-riding.
