Default my compression test #s

starting from RIGHT to LEFT ; 115 , 115 , 115 , 105.

i have a b18c1 with 55k miles, everyone in autoshop said my numbers were really good but i thought they were kinda low..

holy sh*t that's low. are you sure they didn't screw up? i'd get another test done. for that milage, that's horribly low.

was the engine warm? did you pull all of the plugs out? did you let her crank enough times over?

the engine was cold and we only pulled out 1 plug at time.. maybe that was a problem?

could be. make sure the engine is at operating temperature and that you have all the plugs pulled. you should get higher numbers. also, let her crank several times for each cylinder to get the max. reading. looks like one of your cylinders is going to be down a bit, which probably means a worn exhaust lobe or similar. if it's within spec (like max of 10-15% difference from the others), you're still ok.

one more thing, make sure you have the gas pedal pressed all the way down.

i'm surprised c-speedracing didn't mention anything about doing it at operating temp.

Yes make sure you are at WOT, all plugs and ecu fuse out.
